STEP 1: GETTING SKIN READY (GSR)

GSR is an essential ZO® principle for both daily maintenance and preparing skin for therapeutic medical treatment. It ensures skin functions properly, tolerating all daily exposure and activities. In addition, it prevents and controls acne, rosacea, shaving bumps, skin pigmentation problems, enlarged pores and skin texture that is rough and damaged. This system will optimise the effectiveness of your ZO® treatment programme.

Comprised of cleansing, scrubbing, and control for dry skin and oily skin. This system helps eliminate skin sensitivity, restore hydration, enhance skin health and minimise treatment complications.  Below we expand on each step of this basic skincare routine.

  1. Cleanse-Removing surface debris, excess oil and normalising skin.
  2. Exfoliate- Facilitating epidermal renewal by removing dead cells and unclogging pores.
  3. Tone-Reducing sebum, restoring skin pH balance and facilitating product penetration

STEP 2: PREVENT & CORRECT

  1. Acne
  2. Roseacea
  3. Anti -ageing
  4. Pigmentation

STEP 3: PROTECT – SPF

There are five SPF products within the range, all of which provide triple spectrum protection and prevent the signs of skin ageing caused by UVA and UVB rays, free radicals and infra-red light.

There are three types of physical sunscreen, and two types of chemical sunscreen. The type of sunscreen used can be done to personal preference, but physical sunscreen would be indicated in cases where there may be active skin conditions, those prone to pigmentation or disease present to avoid further irritation.
